Rhylin Bailie
Vice President, Investor Relations | Equinox Gold Corp. | 20-year resource IR career spanning NovaGold and Equinox Gold
"Two decades of investor relations for gold producers; the capital-markets voice of Equinox Gold since 2019"
Biography
Rhylin Bailie is Vice President, Investor Relations at Equinox Gold Corp., a Vancouver-based gold producer whose shares trade on the TSX and NYSE American under the ticker EQX. For resource investors she matters for a practical reason: she is the company's capital-markets interface, the executive who carries Equinox's operating story to investors and signs off the company's regulatory news releases. In September 2026 she presented Equinox Gold at the Metals Investor Forum in Vancouver, a long-running Canadian investment conference series.
Her two decades in resource investor relations track some of the gold sector's notable stories. From 2006 to 2011 she handled corporate and investor relations at NovaGold Resources, signing the company's filings through the period when NovaGold urged shareholders to reject Barrick Gold's hostile US$16.00-per-share takeover bid and advanced the Donlin Creek gold project in Alaska and the Galore Creek copper-gold project in British Columbia. Between 2011 and 2018 she held investor-relations roles with other Vancouver-area resource companies, including Copper Canyon Resources, New Zealand Energy, Eagle Hill Exploration and Southern Arc Minerals. She has been Equinox Gold's Vice President, Investor Relations since 2019, when the company's shares began trading on NYSE American.
Investor relations is the translation layer between a mining company and its shareholders, and Bailie's brief is to make Equinox's numbers legible: mine-by-mine production and cost guidance, AISC (all-in sustaining cost — the all-in figure a producer spends to produce one ounce of gold), exploration results, and the financing plans that fund growth. During her tenure Equinox has grown from a startup founded in 2018 into an intermediate producer with operating mines in Canada, the United States, Mexico and Brazil, and in July 2026 it completed its merger with Orla Mining, which increased 2026 production guidance and came with a 50 percent dividend increase.
Following her gives investors the producer's own view: her conference presentations and webcasts carry management's outlook on production, costs and capital allocation, including the integration of the Orla assets. The limit is worth stating plainly — she speaks for Equinox rather than as an independent analyst, so her public remarks present the company's position, not outside judgment. Read alongside filings and independent research, they are a direct line into how a mid-tier gold producer explains its plan to the market.
