Nick Michael
President & CEO | GoldInxs Mining Corp. (TSXV: INXS) | 37-year mine development and operations veteran leading the Fishpot gold project in central British Columbia
"Leading GoldInxs' Fishpot gold project in central BC from grassroots sampling to a permitted, drill-ready stage after a 37-year career in mine development and operations."
Biography
Nick Michael is President and CEO of GoldInxs Mining Corp. (TSXV: INXS), a junior explorer advancing the Fishpot gold project in central British Columbia, roughly 65 km from Artemis Gold's Blackwater mine. A mining executive and technical specialist with more than 37 years in mine development, engineering, and operations, he took the helm in May 2026, led the company onto the TSX Venture Exchange that July, and has moved Fishpot to a permitted, drill-ready position.
His career includes Independent Engineer roles — the technical reviewers project lenders hire to test whether a proposed mine's design and economics actually hold up. He also leads CJK Milling, a Colorado company reprocessing historical mine waste near Leadville: removing old tailings, recovering minerals for beneficial reuse, and restoring the land, with a stated plan to eliminate cyanide from its extraction process. Since becoming CEO, his record at GoldInxs is execution-focused: a multi-year area-based drill permit from the BC Ministry of Mines and Critical Minerals in August 2026, expansion of Fishpot from 2,472 to 5,509 hectares, a 53.4 line-kilometre 3D IP (induced polarization — a geophysical survey that maps how rocks hold electrical charge, flagging sulphide-rich targets) survey, and roughly $1.15 million in financing to fund drilling.
Michael's Fishpot thesis is bulk-tonnage, not high grade: the company is targeting a large gold system in the same Blackwater-style epithermal setting as Artemis Gold's nearby Blackwater deposit (8 Moz gold in proven and probable reserves), where value comes from scale and continuity rather than grade. The method is systematic target generation — a 284 line-kilometre airborne geophysical survey, 90 rock samples returning up to 5.65 g/t (grams per tonne) gold, 11.35 g/t silver and 0.42% copper, and 3D IP plus magnetics that defined six named targets, including the BullsEye copper porphyry target. Only two historical drill holes, totalling 378 metres, have tested the property.
The test is the roughly 2,000-metre maiden drill program planned for 2026. For investors who follow early-stage juniors, GoldInxs under Michael runs a sequence of checkable milestones — permitting, geophysics, financing, drilling — each reported as it happens. The honest caveat: Fishpot is a grassroots asset with almost no drilling history, and the bulk-tonnage thesis stays unproven until the first holes report.
