Clarence Stream Project Manager | Galway Metals | P.Geo. and NI 43-101 Qualified Person

"Project Manager and NI 43-101 Qualified Person behind resource growth at Galway Metals' Clarence Stream gold-antimony project"

Geologist

Biography

Jesse Fisher, P.Geo., is the geologist in charge of one of Canada's most closely watched junior gold projects. As Project Manager of Galway Metals' 100%-owned Clarence Stream gold project in southwest New Brunswick, he directs the drilling and technical work behind a resource of roughly 1.4 million indicated ounces of gold, and he is the Qualified Person who reviews and approves the company's technical disclosures under NI 43-101 (National Instrument 43-101 — the Canadian rules that govern how mining companies report geological results to investors). When Clarence Stream reports a drill intercept or a resource update, Fisher's sign-off stands behind it.

Fisher's background is operational rather than promotional. He spent four years at Galway Metals before being promoted to Project Manager in September 2024, after earlier roles as a mine geologist at Trevali Mining's Caribou mine, an exploration geologist with Osisko Metals in the Bathurst Mining Camp, field work on North American Nickel's Maniitsoq project in Greenland, and geophysical surveying in North Africa and Greenland with Crone Geophysics. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of New Brunswick and is registered as a Professional Geologist in New Brunswick. As Qualified Person, he has approved results including 20.7 g/t (grams per tonne) gold over 11 metres at the Southwest Deposit in May 2026 and 6.1 g/t gold with 0.7% antimony over 28 metres in March 2026.

His approach is steady resource-building rather than headline-chasing. Working with SLR Consulting, he oversaw the July 2026 update to Clarence Stream's mineral resource estimate, which raised the project to approximately 1.42 million indicated ounces — 1.36 million of them grading 1.58 g/t in open-pit material — plus about 1.29 million ounces in the lower-confidence inferred category, along with roughly 19,500 tonnes of indicated antimony, a critical metal used in flame retardants and munitions. The updated study drew on 342 drill holes totalling 69,556 metres completed since the 2022 estimate.

Fisher's current focus is expanding open-pittable, high-grade mineralization along roughly 65 kilometres of strike in a district with existing roads and power. Metallurgical testing has recovered more than 90% of both gold and antimony in early work, and Galway has leased space at the adjacent former Mount Pleasant mill as the company advances toward a PEA (preliminary economic assessment — a first-pass study of whether a deposit can be mined profitably). He keeps a low public profile outside company disclosures — a rare April 2026 conference appearance alongside Galway's chief executive is representative — so investors best follow his work through Galway Metals' news releases, where each technical result carries his approval.

  • Top takeaway Fisher describes the July 2026 Clarence Stream resource update totaling 2.7M oz (1.42M indicated, 1.29M inferred), with a PEA from BBA expected in Q1 2027
  • Two rigs are currently drilling the Southwest deposit (1.6-1.7M oz) to upgrade resource categories, with about 88% of ounces now pit-constrained
  • He explains antimony as a critical mineral driven by China's restrictions, with metallurgical work supporting a sulfide-con float plus on-site alkaline leaching or shipping concentrate to a nearby deep-sea port
  • He highlights New Brunswick infrastructure: power within roughly 0.5-1 km of each deposit, a deep-sea port about 15 km away, and roughly 3-week drill-permit turnaround
  • He frames two starter pits (North and South) as higher-grade, antimony-bearing, fastest-payback zones before ramping up to the larger Southwest deposit

Prime Minister Carney announced 100% first-year capital expensing for major Canadian mines — a policy equivalent to a ~25% tax rebate on mine build-out. Carney's 'one project, one review' plan would fold federal and provincial mine permitting into a single review, speeding juniors toward production. Michael Gentile wrote his largest check yet into Galway Metals (GWM), citing Canada's policy shift and the 2.7M oz Clarence Stream resource in New Brunswick. Galway's Clarence Stream project holds 2.7M oz — 88% pit-constrained (shaped for open-pit mining), with starter pits 92% indicated (resource category ready for PEA). Clarence Stream drill costs run ~$120 CAD per meter — roughly a fifth of Arizona or Nevada rates — reflecting strong local infrastructure.
