J'aime Spork

J'aime Spork is Managing Partner of Sprott Inc. and Head Trader of Sprott Asset Management, the precious-metals-focused investment firm founded by Eric Sprott. She sits on the firm's Gold Team, the group that runs Sprott's public gold strategies, and serves as Head Trader across all of Sprott's public investment products.

She began her career at Sprott Asset Management in March 2003 after graduating from the University of Western Ontario, and has spent more than two decades inside one of the resource sector's most closely watched firms. In December 2021 she was promoted to Managing Partner as part of a leadership refresh that recognized ten members of Sprott's senior team.

As Head Trader, Spork works alongside Sprott's senior portfolio managers on the Gold Team and is responsible for how the firm's positioning is implemented in the market. Because her role sits closer to the trading desk than to media commentary, her public footprint is smaller than that of Sprott's named portfolio managers, and her views reach investors largely through the firm's published commentary rather than her own bylines.

She was a featured speaker at the Bloor Street Capital International Women's Day Virtual Conference in March 2026, alongside peers from Sprott, CPP Investments, and TD Bank, reflecting the broader pipeline of women moving into senior trading and portfolio roles at resource-focused firms.
