Dave Jackson

Host & Moderator, investorTV Live Panels | Global One Media | Monthly gold, silver and critical minerals webinars for resource investors

"Moderator of investorTV's monthly live mining panels - gold, silver, copper and junior mining - produced by Global One Media."

Interviewer

Biography

Dave Jackson is the host and moderator of the live panel series on investorTV (Investor TV), the investor media platform produced by Global One Media, a digital-first investor marketing and media company that works with listed companies. His panels give resource investors a working shortcut: mining executives and market strategists answering the same questions on where capital is flowing, which jurisdictions are gaining ground, and what moves junior mining companies (small exploration and development firms) from discovery toward production.

Jackson moderates investorTV's monthly live panel discussions. In August 2026 he led two of them: "Gold & Silver in Focus: Jurisdiction, Capital & Investor Priorities for 2026" (August 6, 2026), with the chief executives of Toogood Gold, Dryden Gold, Silver Viper Minerals and Aftermath Silver, plus Thomas Parilla of Parilla Investment Group; and "Copper's New Supercycle: Powering AI, Electrification & the Next Decade of Growth" (August 20, 2026), with leaders from Metallic Minerals, Vortex Metals, Eastport Critical Metals, Copper Road Resources and Copper Fox Metals, alongside Hallgarten & Company strategist Christopher Ecclestone. Replays are posted on the Investor TV YouTube channel.

His format is disciplined rather than theatrical. Jackson opens with the market backdrop (spot prices, recent deals such as Coeur Mining's US$1.7 billion acquisition of SilverCrest), puts one question to the full panel, then presses individual executives on capital discipline, jurisdiction risk, financings, M&A and the drill results or resource updates investors should watch next. Questions from the live chat shape parts of the discussion, and each panel closes with every guest laying out their next 12 to 18 months of catalysts.

Public records on Jackson's own investing career are thin; his value to investors is as the moderator who gets management teams to compare jurisdiction risk, capital plans and catalysts side by side, unscripted. The panels are sponsored productions - Global One Media discloses that it and its hosts may receive compensation from, and hold positions in, featured companies - so treat them as a way to hear operators directly rather than as recommendations.

The copper supply gap needs roughly 20 new mines by 2035, yet each large project takes five-plus years to permit and build. Junior miners trade near one-third of last-cycle highs while producers have doubled, a setup Greg Johnson compares to 2002-2003. Retail investors overweight headline drill intercepts and miss the scale, follow-up drilling, jurisdiction, and management track record. Lower-profile jurisdictions like Botswana, Colorado, and Argentina may trade at unjustified discounts to Ontario and Nevada, panelists argue. This copper cycle is broader-based than 2000-2008, driven by electrification, AI data centers, and urbanization across Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

  • Top takeaway Dave Jackson moderates the panel, steering the discussion through investor questions on bull-market drivers, leverage, jurisdiction versus grade, resource thresholds, offtakes and upcoming milestones.

Gold and silver sit at generational highs with structural fundamentals intact; both remain in the early innings of a multi-decade bull market. Junior mining equities have lagged physical metals despite record prices, creating a generational buying window for investors who pick the right teams. Grade and jurisdiction together drive valuation; Nevada, Ontario, Quebec, and Newfoundland command premiums that attract major capital today. Strategic backing by senior producers and funds like Fresnillo, Agnico, Alamos, and Eric Sprott acts as due diligence and signals quality. Capital discipline separates winners: leading juniors put 80 cents of every dollar into the ground and share evidence through steady news flow.
