Cole McGill

Cole McGill is a Director on Stifel GMP's Mining Equity Research team in Toronto, where he covers base and precious metals producers with an emphasis on the gold, copper, and lithium subsectors. For resource investors, he is one of the more accessible sell-side voices on Canadian-listed mining equities, with regular coverage notes and frequent television appearances explaining the investment case for individual miners.

Before moving to the sell side, McGill worked as an exploration geologist for major mining firms including Homestake Mining Company and Newcrest Mining, giving him hands-on experience with how deposits are actually found and advanced.
