"Raising capital and driving corporate development for Fiore Group-backed Crossroads Gold and its Australian gold projects"
Biography
Carson Sedun (spelled "Sedoon" in some records) is Vice President of Corporate Development at Crossroads Gold Corp. (TSXV: CRG — the TSX Venture Exchange, Canada's listing venue for junior resource companies), a Fiore Group-backed gold exploration company advancing four projects in southeastern Australia's historic goldfields. For resource investors, his seat matters because it controls the funding side of a junior explorer: the capital raises and market communication that decide whether targets actually get drilled.
Sedun has roughly 13 years of experience in capital markets, corporate development, and investment banking. He worked as an investment banking associate at Canaccord Genuity and Dundee Capital Markets from 2014 to 2018, then founded Annapurna Capital, where he remains principal. He has also served as President, CEO, and director of Panorama Capital Corp. and held corporate development roles with Northstar Clean Technologies and Silver Valley Metals. He holds an MBA from York University's Schulich School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University.
At Crossroads Gold, his work centers on financing and deal execution for a portfolio anchored by the flagship Steiglitz project in Victoria, which recorded roughly 250,000 ounces of historic production at recovered grades near 38 g/t (grams per tonne — unusually high for gold), and the Pambula goldfield in New South Wales, where recent soil sampling returned assays up to 24.6 g/t gold. Corporate development at a junior explorer is the craft of matching exploration milestones to funding: equity raises, investor relationships, and acquisitions such as Crossroads' 2026 additions of the Steiglitz and Rox-ex projects.
His public record is corporate rather than published research, so investors get the most value from following Crossroads' news flow and team interviews — including The Deep Dive's 2026 "Building Australia's Next Gold Story" — to see how a Fiore-backed junior sequences drilling, permitting, and financing across Victoria's and New South Wales' re-emerging goldfields.
