Bradley Langille

President & CEO | GoGold Resources | Mine builder; developer of Mexico's Los Ricos silver-gold district

"Took two Mexican gold companies from grassroots to commercial production; now building the Los Ricos silver-gold district at GoGold"

Mining Executive

Biography

Bradley Langille is President, CEO and a director of GoGold Resources (TSX: GGD), a Canadian silver and gold producer operating in Mexico. He is a mine builder by record, not just by title: he co-founded and led Gammon Gold and Mexgold Resources, taking projects at both companies from grassroots exploration — the earliest, cheapest stage of hunting for a deposit — to commercial production. GoGold's Los Ricos district in Jalisco is his attempt to run that sequence again at larger scale.

As co-founder, director and CEO of Gammon Gold, Langille developed the Ocampo gold-silver mine in Chihuahua into a producing operation; Gammon later acquired the San Dimas mine and was renamed Primero Mining. He repeated the achievement at Mexgold Resources, which also advanced its Mexican project to commercial production. At GoGold, the company he founded, he put the Parral operation in Chihuahua into production in 2015 by reprocessing tailings — the finely ground material left behind by earlier mining, which can still hold recoverable silver and gold — before assembling the district-scale Los Ricos land package in Jalisco starting in 2019.

His method is capital discipline. Parral's low-capital-intensity tailings operation gave GoGold cash flow early in its life, supporting the land acquisition and drilling at Los Ricos, where the company has published initial NI 43-101 resource estimates (Canada's regulated standard for how public companies disclose mineral resources) for both Los Ricos North and Los Ricos South, and completed a preliminary economic assessment — a PEA, an early-stage study testing whether a deposit can be mined profitably — for Los Ricos North. He favors historic mining districts in Mexico, where roads, power and experienced local workforces already exist, and reports progress in silver equivalent ounces, a combined silver-plus-gold tally.

Langille has been a featured guest in on-stage interviews at the Rule Symposium resource-investment conference in 2025 and again in 2026. For investors, the value in following him is the signal in his decisions: staking, drilling budgets and study timelines at Los Ricos show how a serial mine builder sequences exploration, resource growth and permitting in Mexico. The milestones to watch — drill results, updated resource estimates and, eventually, a production decision — are stages he has already navigated twice before.

  • Top takeaway The GoGold CEO argues the silver market is probably the best bull market of his career, which began in 1993, and says the plan is to keep margins high, focus on the work, and let the upside take care of itself.
  • He presents the growth story from a strong base: $284 million cash and no debt at the end of June, a tailings mine running 12 years, and a newly permitted Los Ricos South with 80% of detailed engineering done before ground is broken.
  • He argues the Eagle Zone alone should generate close to half a billion dollars of after-tax free cash flow over 18 months at prices as of the interview — nearly twice the project's roughly $227-250 million capex.
  • He contends a second permit in the district should now be easier to obtain and plans to move the same construction team from Los Ricos South to North after first pour for a total district build.
  • He leans on repeatable execution — four mines built over 30 years in Mexico — as the reason GoGold can hold a two-year build to first pour around 2028, possibly shorter given the engineering head start.

GoGold's newly received Los Ricos South permit unlocks construction in Mexico, with detailed engineering already 80% complete and dirt moving within a month. GoGold brings $284 million in cash and no debt to the build, with 12-year-old Parral tailings generating about $60 million free cash flow yearly. Los Ricos South targets 7.3 million silver-equivalent ounces yearly at $12 AISC (All-In Sustaining Cost — true cost per ounce), toward 15 to 17 million. The Eagle Zone's first 18 months could generate close to half a billion dollars of after-tax free cash flow, nearly repaying the project's capex twice. Langille credits 30 years of Mexican relationships and community benefit for permitting wins, and calls this the best silver bull market of his career.

GoGold trades at ~$500M EV (market cap minus cash) against ~$4.5B spot NPV (today's value of all future cash flows) for the Los Ricos district. Los Ricos South is 70% through detailed engineering at a $227M build; the long-awaited mining permit could land within weeks. Peral generates $70-85M of annual free cash flow, and Los Ricos South is projected to add ~$600M of post-tax FCF in its first 18 months. At ~$12/oz AISC (the real cost to produce an ounce), Los Ricos lifts silver-equivalent output from 2M to 15-17M oz/yr at full build.
